SILVERLINE IS ABOUT TO ACHIEVE ITS ZERO WASTE GOAL IN ITS FACTORY

Having received a plaque within the scope of the “Zero Waste Project” launched by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization to use natural resources efficiently, reduce waste amount, recycle waste materials and leave a clean world for the next generations, Silverline aims to achieve 100 percent recycling by sorting waste at the source and especially focusing on the selection of recyclable raw materials.

 

Silverline, one of Europe’s top 5 and world’s top 10 hood manufacturers, takes environmental effects into consideration in every step, including the first stage of production, delivering services and products to the consumer, and carries out activities to use raw materials, natural resources and energy efficiently. Developing energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly technologies at its factory established on an area of 103,000 m² in Merzifon, Silverline aims to achieve 100 percent recycling by sorting waste at the source and especially focusing on the selection of recyclable raw materials, with the “Zero Waste System” established in its production facility. Ensuring 4,500 kg paper/cardboard recovery, 55 tones of glass recovery, 350 tons of metal waste recovery, 2,300 kg plastic/nylon recovery in 2018 in the production facilities established in Merzifon, Amasya, Silverline received a plaque within the scope of the “Zero Waste Project” launched by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
